CFPA Outstanding Senior Scholarship

The Center for Fine and Performing Arts (CFPA) Outstanding Senior Scholarship provides financial assistance to graduating seniors enrolling full-time in a fine or performing arts accredited undergraduate program either as a major or minor, OR, in a certificate program in the fine or performing arts at a qualifying educational institution. A qualifying educational institution is one that meets the rules set forth in Internal Revenue Code Section 4945(g) for Individual Grants.
Recipients will receive a $1,000 scholarship and are selected based n demonstrated involvement in service to the CFPA program, volunteerism, extracurricular activities, teacher evaluation, and short responses to prompts which reflect strength of character.
Applicant must be a current CFPA senior who is:

A member, in good standing, of the CFPA Program at Charles J. Colgan Senior High School;

Anticipating completion of high school diploma in current school year at the time of application;

Planning to pursue continuing education in the fine or performing arts by enrolling full-time in a degree providing program as either a major or minor, or in a certificate program in the fine or performing arts at a qualifying educational institution the following fall.
